I always loved that livery. The cars looked so much better back then, too.

You realize that car is from the V10 era, which apparently is the greatest sounding F1 engine era ever?

Yes but it does not come with an engine and has the fake sponsor of Buzzin Hornets.

Has anyone ever used a Wankel as a stressed member?

Nah cosworth V8. Pretty sure they still sell an F1 spec engine

You’re missing the joke about the angry bees.

Clearly

787b? I imagine at that time all prototypes at least tried to use the engine as a load bearing component.

That is a very expensive decoration. No way to could get it racing for less than like $100,000. At that point, you could likely buy a V10 F1 car that is already race-worthy.

Someone needs to buy it and see how street legal they can make it.

There are probably like 5 or 6 jokes here that I’m missing.
No clue why installing a rotary would be notable. Or even what “installing a rotary” means. Aren’t all phones push-button now? Do race cars usually have phones installed? In NASCAR I think they use radios in their helmets.

The sound that a rotary engine produces is often described as sounding like a swarm of angry bees. The sponsor on this car (which is a fake sponsor due to the fact that in some countries you cannot advertise tobacco products) is buzzin’ hornets.
